In 2017, Dr. Andrew Lenhardt started his own practice as part of the independent wellness center Well Life. This is an exciting opportunity that will allows him to pursue his passion of delivering the best care possible to my patients.

Mary Hart as a Clinical Aromatherapist, holding a Bachelor of Science Degree from Babson College.

 

As a Clinical Aromatherapist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Muscular Therapist and Esthetician, she has over 25 years of working with diverse ages and special needs.

 

She is a master Yoga Instructor. As a member of The National Yoga Alliance, she is certified to provide continuing education credits to instructors.

 

Ms. Hart is certified with the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy in San Raphael CA and The London School of Clinical Aromatherapy. She presented her thesis work on Aromatherapy in Skin Care to the C.I.D.E.S.C.O board in Washington DC as part of her international certification process.  She has studied in London at Regis College and has toured extensively through Southern France, visiting distilleries and producers in the Luberon, Grasse, Aix and St.Remy regions.  She is passionate about Aromatherapy and incorporates elements into every area of her work and home life.

 

She teaches pilates, dance, spinning and yoga. She also teaches internationally and leads yoga and wellness retreats. She is the creator and Co-Director of The Studio 13 Cleanse for Life.  She was the technical adviser and model for Yoga Beats the Blues, published by Fairwinds Press. Her DVD The Iron Crow Power Yoga Workout in Paradise was filmed on location in Costa Rica during one of her many retreats held there.

 

She is currently studying for her Master Reiki Certification, having practiced Usui Reiki for over fifteen years.

Marnie Lawler, NTP

Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

Marnie Lawler is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) who specializes in nutrient dense, whole-foods diets for people with compromised health.

 

Marnie graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in Canton, New York. She also has a Master of Education in Middle School Science. Her family's health issues and passion for science and nutrition lead her to become a NTP. Since that time she has gone on to become versed in, food sensitivity testing, functional blood chemistry, and is currently finishing an advance degree with Chris Kresser’s ADAPT (Advanced Diagnostics and Personalized Treatment) protocol.

 

Marnie recommends individualized dietary therapy focusing on biologically appropriate diet principles to aid her clients towards improved health and mitigation of auto-immune conditions as well as improved energy, vitality and weight management. She believes that everyone is different and tailors her plan for each individual. Marnie combines the dietary wisdom of traditional cultures with the latest science in integrative and functional medicine to create plans for her clients that work in today’s world.

June grew up in North Shore Massachusetts where she has lived all her life. She received her BSN at Salem State University in 2001 and has worked at the Lahey health primary care office in Hamilton for 15 years.

 

In 2014, June received the Daisy award in recognition of her dedication and compassion towards her patients, and she is an avid member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society of nursing.

 

June is the loving mother of four daughters and is happily married to her husband, Kevin, of 28 years. Every summer she volunteers as a nurse for the Kids PMC Rides and dedicates the remainder of her time to her family and friends.

Personalized Medicine

Andrew Lenhardt, MD, is a board-certified family physician and the former Medical Director of Lahey Hamilton. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts Medical School for over 10 years. He is the author of the book The Best of All Worlds – A Family Doctor’s Path to Integrative Medicine. His goal is to use the best mainstream approaches while also incorporating the best options from other disciplines of wellness into his daily practice. This integrative approach is seen at Well Life in Peabody Mass where traditional doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners work with alternative practitioners in a collaborative model.  Dr. Lenhardt will transition his practice to Well Life starting March 1, 2017.

 

Dr. Lenhardt’s primary goal is to target the root causes of illness and provide patients with the tools to achieve optimal health. With a focus on prevention rather than treatment, he is able to incorporate the principles of functional medicine, naturopathy, ancestral health, nutrition and lifestyle in caring for his patients. Protocols are in place to help prevent and reverse health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, chronic fatigue, dementia, osteoporosis and others. Research is ongoing and a variety of topics are covered at his blog.

 

Dr. Lenhardt is a member of American Academy of Family Physician (AAFP), the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM).
